Pam Kitty Around Town
Hi there! I'm still thinking about my vacation, a lot! I had a great time in Minnesota. One of the fun things that Linda and I did was attend Pat Sloan's book signing at Barnes and Noble! It was a great chance to meet up with Roseann too.. so super fun time. Pat had a nice turnout, you can catch some pictures over on her blog here.
Jennifer Keltner was there to introduce Pat. Jennifer is the Publisher and Chief Visionary Officer at Martingale now.
Pat is a great public speaker. Linda said she really enjoyed it even though she doesn't sew or quilt! I think that says a lot!
I really like Pat's book, it's a great resource even if you never make one project! I picked up a signed copy of Pat's book at the event, and if you'd like a chance to win leave me a comment ! I'll pick a winner at the end of the week!
Ok, that's it for now!

That is so sweet of you to share. I'm a total novice when it comes to appliqué, especially hand appliqué. My fingers are crossed.
I used to attend two quilting retreats a year; one in Bryce Canyon and the other in Jackson, Wy. But, now, I find so much inspiration on Instagram - like Lori Holt - and quilting books and from your blog and other quilting blogs that I stay at home and quilt - and post my photos.
Sounds like a fun talk to attend, and Looks like the book has some great photos.
I love the look of applique quilts. Some are so intricate and beautiful that I have been too afraid to try. sandybailey55@hotmail.com
I would love to win! I need to work on my applique skills.
I would like to win.I can use my Pam Kitty fabrics🌷🌷🌸🌷🌷
Pat Sloan is awesome and I wish I could have been at the book signing with you. I have been quilting since 2010 but I have not yet tried applique. I know there are various methods and yours always looks terrific!
Just waving to say Hi!! I couldn't pass up Pat's book, I have never done much fusible applique so I just had to buy it.
I've never heard Pat speak, but I do love her appliqué style and would love to win the book!

I'm a long time garment sewer, and a newbie to quilting. I'd love to try applique.

Thank you for the opportunity! I'm glad Linda found the talk interesting, maybe you've recruited a new quilter to the club!

I would love to have this book. Thanks for the chance to win.
Hi! I'd really enjoy winning Pat's book. I know very little about applique and I avoid patterns where it's included. It just looks so darn complicated and difficult. Maybe this new book could get me past my issues. Thanks for offering it to one of us. ktsquiltdreams (at)gmail (dot)com
I purchased the book at the signing and got to meet you too! Thanks for being friendly!
I'd love to take Pat's class sometime near future!
