Blathering on

Tuesday was just one of those nondescript drink coffee, sew and dork around kind of days. You should be doing something productive but you aren't. Or is that just me? Anyway, I left my coffee photo unedited because it reminds me of CSI when the crime scene is all dark and blue and you want to just yell at them to TURN ON THE LIGHTS FOR PITY'S SAKE but oh wait THAT IS JUST ME. Sorry..
I didn't know I was feeling a little blue till I got a sweet package in the mail that cheered me up so much. Sharon is so kind and generous and somehow knows just when I need a little boost! She is my official Good Fairy! (check out her darling online shop, I love the RED category!)

So I decided to get busy on a new little project. But more on that later. You know, when I actually figure out what that little project is exactly!

Happy Wednesday people! xo

You are so right about that lighting issue on CSI. Makes me think that there are always power outages in Vegas. Crazy, wouldn't you think crime solving would be done better by full light than flash light?????? Can't wait to see your project! Love ya!

You know I still walk (run) out to the mailbox every time I hear the mail drop in our little box. I adore receiving mail and packages. I can't imagine anything nicer than Junior Mints. Yum!

That is so funny about CSI! I think every week I say "why, why, why won't you turn on the lights?!". I've been in a bit of a sewing slump myself. I think it's time to call up my mom and sister and arrange a sewing day!

DH and I both tell CSI to turn on a light at the crime scene. DH works in a lab and he can't understand why they don't have the lights on there either!

I am loving your darling coffee cup----do you mind telling where you got it? This cold weather has turned me into a sippin coffee in front of the fireplace with a good book kind of gal every day. No sewing, just sipping and reading! When the weather gets warmer I'll get up and do something!

That Sharon! She is so sweet. :-) Ah, there's the coffee mug. It's even cuter than I thought. I looked at my HomeGoods today to see if they got those in yet, to no avail.

Oh, squeeeeeeeeee! You have a Go Baby! I need to check in here more often, and I probably would have known that already. I put it on my own Christmas list and love it, even though I already had a Go. I am just dying to take my Go Baby to a retreat or something, meanwhile it is small enough that I keep it out on my sewing machine with a few dies for quick cuts! In case I ever actually make a quilt or anything . . .

Oh, and about the lights. I don't watch any of the CSIs (I know, what's wrong with me??) but The West Wing always had offices full of government workers in semi-darkness. Saving energy, no doubt.

I had a day like that a few days ago too. I ended up dumping out one of my fabric bins and getting it cleaned up! Glad you got some cheerful mail, that ALWAYS helps :)

CSI rocks and we all notice the light thing I guess. And Sharon is a doll isn't she. I can hardly wait for the pics of her work room with all the fabrics she's been getting in :) hope you are doing fine since the mint-pick-me-up!!
