Monday!

Happy Monday my fair people! How are you? I'm on lock down today, car is being serviced so I'm stuck at home. (not really locked down, there's the pickup to drive) I really want to get started on a project and try and stick to it all day. I mean come on, it's a perfect day, no car and my fav crime fighters should be on tv!

2.5 + 1.5

Cut these strips way back before quilt market. I have been wanting to make American Jane's Mini Merry-go-Round since I saw the sample at Quiltique back in March of 2010!

the project

I am just going to take it easy, sew a strip set, cut a set of triangles, make the blocks. Who knows how long it will take. I think I did three over the weekend and it was fun. So what else is up with you guys? Summer is upon us right? Tell me your plans!

You're so prepared! I can't even begin to think about my day until I finish this first cup of coffee.

Have fun on 'lock down' today.

We're taking Maggie to her grooming appointment. Wish us luck. This is her first time with someone new in four years. Her previous groomer was like family - sniff, sniff! It will be like dropping your five year off for their first day of school.

Well Pam, it does look like fun. I came, I saw and thought it would be a really good hand project for the hospital! However, the sky's have opened up, the wind is furious, leaves and branches are flying off the trees and it is as dark as eight at night. So, got a grip and decided that I had better get my mind back on Aunty Green! Seriously we are having a severe storm so staying inside for awhile. Hope all is well and will check in on your most appealing project tomorrow, Nadinec

Sounds like a perfect day ! (cute quilt pattern too!)

My agenda : so far procrastinating to finish last week's paperwork and ignoring my cell phone ringing cause I know it's the Home Care office calling to make my afternoon even more aggravating; then on the road to see afternoon patients ......... you'd think I'd get off this computer and get my @$$ in gear wouldn't you? :)

I spent last week in Sacramento to attend my oldest granddaughter's high school graduation. It was a real treat to be away from this "breeze" and enjoy some warmer weather. Sacramento is a very beautiful city! So now I'm FINALLY catching up on my favorite blogs! And just had to start with PKM !!!
