Just a Quickie!

My friend Robin from Paris Bebe fabrics is having a give away over on her blog... you should check it out! Her fabrics are so pretty and she's giving away a fat quarter bundle.

I have had a busy week. Kid stuff to you really busy people, but to not-so-busy people like me it's been action filled. I've been helping Alex with some organizing over at her studio in preparation for her retreat this weekend.

It's a treat to work in such a nice airy space with good light instead of over here at the dungeon.

I'm not drinking the kool-aid for myself, but I am going to do a little folding and organizing over there.

This weekend I plan on finishing up my market photos and getting back to business around the blog. Have a happy weekend my friends!

Oh wow -- LOVE the photos. Like you, I have to say I love the IDEA of folding fabric. But -- um, have I mentioned I was the weird kid who didn't like kool-aid?

To heck with the shrimp... I want Alex's Chinese lantern. What a great studio.

Ahhh... to have a space, with so much light, so much elbow room, so much more storage, so much, so much, so much...

Nah... mine would still be a mess. A bigger space would only mean bigger piles of crap, bigger messes, bigger fabric purchases. And better light would only aid the visibility of cat hair, dust, leaves/grass the dogs dragged in.

So now you have to go to my blog, read it and tell me why your blog isn't filled with little bags? They are so cute. Do I have to come over and make you put pictures on? Congratulations! I'm sure there will be more wonderful things to come!

Oh gosh Pam. If I got NOTHING else out of your FAB market photos and report, I DID go to parisbebe.com and ordered a SWEET pile o' fabrics. But a girl can never have too much so THANKS for the giveaway heads up! :-)

Wow, Alex's studio does look heavenly. Light, open, purty! Your dungeon doesn't look all that bad, and after all, YOU are in it! :) I'm going through an organizing mode right now, I better do it soon, before it passes! :) And I AM drinking the kool-aid. :)
