Good Morning Peoples!

I really underestimated the amount of time making these blocks would take. I finished them up last night right before dinner. They're so cheerful. But honestly, I think we all see the problem here. You're just too nice to say anything.

My love for the yellow piece and the alphabet print interfered with my good judgement. Too much white in the yellow print, it reads pretty much the same as the red alphabet print making the chain a little mushy. Not like I'm going to scrap it, but it's a nice reminder to myself that there are rules and guidelines for a reason.

I suddenly have lots of fun ideas bubbling around and now I just need to finish this one to get onto the next. What are you up to?

Wait! I want to hear about the rules and guidelines. I love those little prints and I would just want to put them together like you did -- so what "rule" or "guidline" would have kept you from putting them together like that?

We have emptied three shelves in preparation for the arrival of PKM. Yesterday when three huge boxes of fabric arrived from UPS I said yay! Pam's here! Dang. It was Stella. Dear Stella. From Timeless. Don't get me wrong. I do love Stella, but Pam is my fav. Can't wait til you get to Strawerry Patches!

Hard to believe our enthusiasm could ever become a problem. :)

Been there too, it's up on the design wall, you see the problem and still talk yourself out of making a change....as if you'd never find another use for the cute fabric! And thT fabric is sooo cute Pam!

You never know Pam, once it's all together it might work just fine! Don't forget, you're looking at a small part of the puzzle - it might be a burst of sunshine throughout the quilt!

I'm not exactly sure what you think is wrong with your piece. I think it's pretty. I ordered some of your fabulous fabric today and cannot wait to get it. I truly love every piece and it was hard to decide what to buy as I can't afford yards of each one. I didn't order the alphabet one and now wish I had.
