Do ya feel lucky? Do ya?
It's the perfect day for it right? I was up early but not early enough to catch a leprechaun. I didn't even find any gold coins when I was looking!
What I did find was a copy of Pat's new book in my mail box!!! It's filled with not only wonderful quilt projects but it's a beautiful scrapbook of the trip. The book has day by day adventures of Pat and her merry band of quilters, accompanied by some lovely photography. I particularly loved the flowering tree in Avoca... a town that I happen to know is a favorite of Elizabeth as well. Here's how you can be lucky, leave a comment and this weekend I'll pick two names to win a copy of Pat's book! And to up your odds, travel around to all Pat's lucky blog friends and leave a comment!
Here's the lucky list of Leprechauns:
If all that's not enough, check out these videos about the trip! Part 1 and part 2! Ok, scram.. leave some comments and cross your fingers! Happy St. Patrick's day people!!! xo

What a great book! Even though I have Irish heritage, we don't make a big deal out of St. Paddy's Day. I do wear green, however; last year one of my students pinched me because I forgot. (I pinched him back. haha)
St. Patrick's Day is one of my most favorite holidays!!!! I'd love to win the book.

My son used to set leprechaun traps in his bedroom for St. Patrick's Day. Did you try that? Have to use gold for bait, so you need to invest a bit. This book looks charming. I won't be going there, but would love to read and quilt about Ireland.
SUCH A NEAT BOOK!
THANKS FOR SHARING!

Love to WIN!! Hope to go to Ireland one day, but this may be the closest I ever get.....
Funny you should mention catching a leprechaun....it reminded me of the cute leprechaun traps my kids used to make in school. We used to gather all sorts of odd items for them to bring to schjool to use in their traps. Hope I trap a win of this book :)

Luck of the Irish to you and may the blessings flow this spring like the greening of the plants. Thanks for the peek at the Irish countryside and your book.
My grandniece's kinder class is making leprechaun traps at school - and asked me a jillion questions about leprechauns and elves. Tonight we have our traditional corned beef and vegetables dinner. Thanks for the giveaway - would enjoy winning one of Pat's books.
We've still got snow on the ground but Pat's new book definitely put Spring in my heart today!! When I'm finished on the blog hop it's off to the beginning of a shop hop---will finish that tomorrow---then downtown for our Annual St. Patrick's Day Wee Parade (so named because it's only 2 blocks long) and dinner followed by an Irish Coffee with my husband.
Now have a Happy St. Patrick's Day and if you should feel kindly I'd love to win one of Pat's new books. :-)

Quilts and Ireland...life is so good. I'm adding this book to my must have. I will be traveling to Ireland this summer. I had decided to buy fabric in Ireland and then make a memory quilt....I think the snowball quilt would be perfect. I did trap a leprechaun and he said he would make sure that I won. Wasn't that nice of him!!!! Either way, thanks for the chance.
Lovely Irish quilts--hope to win the book so I can make them!
I have always loved St. Patricks day. I met my husband 23 year ago today, and that is cause for celebration in itself! My kids have always liked it since my son's 1st grade teacher told the kids about setting Leprechaun traps. Every year for at least 5 years after that they would make the most elaborate traps...of course I would have to find something to give them as a consolation when the clever Leprechaun pulled the trap but didn't get caught. Usually some cute litte St. Paddy's stuffed animal or something. Now they are too old, but they still like their St. Paddy's day treats. Chocolate will suffice these days! Thanks for reading, and for the opportunity to win Pat's book...that would really make it my Lucky day!
Happy St Paddy's day!! Thanks for the chance to win!!
