More please

Frankie had Bret's little car up until this weekend's car switch, so we took it out for a ride yesterday afternoon. Too hot really, for me anyway. I need to cover my whole head as my dark hair just soaks up the sun and my head gets so stinken hot my brain fries. Consequently I actually type things like How Green Was My Valley instead of leaving them in my head where they belong.
Its nice living in the country, or sort of country, as you can see things like this. Fresh and grown without pesticides.
Man it is the country.
Ok Peeps, what did you do this weekend?
Not like I'm putting a giant snail in my front yard.
As you can tell I'm really low on interesting content for you. No good sewing to share, I mean I've been working on some really good projects, just not sharable. Hopefully Elizabeth will share this darling quilt soon, I'm doing the ditch quilting on it.. or rather, should be in there doing the ditch quilting. But here I sit. With my coffee. And do you see what time it is. Good grief.
Ok my sweet pixies... you guys have a good weekend. Tell me all about what you have planned.
I wish I had taken the time to see who was the designer of that cute quilt. If you know, leave a comment for us!
More local peeps.
And some Sandy..
Thimblecreek has some amazing samples. The place was crammed with beautiful quilts.
Bought a few pieces.. Love how the pink and aqua looks together. Also picked up some green that I love and had used up,. These look so pretty on chenille. It was a good day now back to the grindstone.
I love my little cherry tree and could take a thousand photos of it's blooms. Here's just one.
One of a very few apricots on my tree. The tree is old, been here since Bret moved in about twenty five years ago. The tree is probably half dead, but still it puts forth the effort. I bet this little apricot won't last more than another week. The greedy squirrels will eat them all in this state and not wait till they reach their beautiful ripeness.
Can you believe how blue the sky is? No photoshopping people. I haven't seen such a glorious blue sky in so long.
Count on more gardeny photos, my tree is only half filled with blooms and my snowball is covered in lime green flowers, soon to be white. I love that bush.
Happy Sunday peoples.
p.s. Was I the last to know Marianne Fons had a blog?
The shop was buzzing full of people and projects on the table, and old friends, lots of old friends. It was great. Back home I got to cutting. Stay tuned, I'm on a roll.
