I'm still sewing

Phew people, after those two days of 90 degree weather it's back to normal around here. Wow is all I can say, got in the car Monday morning and it was 58 degrees. That's way more like it for an April morning.
Been catching up on things around here, a little house stuff, a little sewing, a little paperwork. The market busy-ness will trickle down my way again soon, so I try not to get too involved in anything I won't mind putting aside for a while. Market is officially a month away.

More Flight of Fancy..

So what are you up to people? I know Amy is drinking coffee, Monica is waiting for a special delivery, Anne is celebrating a friend's birthday, Brenda is printing her book, Nicole is organizing, this girl has her feet up, and some one special is having a birthday. Tell me all about your doings!

I am making a bean bag chair.

Then I am getting back to working on sorting out that serger. I did find a tutorial video on youtube, but my machine is not even close the one they are demonstrating, so it just made me more confused. LOL

Me, I'm sitting here with bad sinus infection from all this wind and dust. I'm jealous of all the sewing you have been able to do! So, I'll just sit here and live vicariously through you! Sniff, sniff!

NICE quilt PKM! I'm just drowning in the mire of all the great projects that I want to do -- can't seem to get out of neutral and get going. I think I'm starting to roll backwards and I'll soon find myself drowned in the lake LOL!

I love the blogs you sent us to! Thanks!

Let's see, what have I been doing. Well, whatever it has been I've been too busy to blog! I have been helping my friend, Terry, making things (curtains, pillows, pieced fish to be appliqued on a fabric shower curtain). We've been planning our trip to Paducah such as what we're going to wear, what bag we are taking, who's car we're going in, and what projects we need to find fabric for. It's all kinds of fun stuff!

I've been tracking your weather with envy. It is 41 degrees right now and freezing. I'm looking forward to coming to the bay area this summer for some sunshine.

90 degrees?? I wish.

Today I'm doing laundry and tonight there's a wonderful dinner party at the neighbor's house. We have a dinner party group that meets every other month. There are 10 couples, which seems like alot of people, but really, it's great! With that many couples you only need to be the host every year and a half or so.

Have a wonderful weekend there in California! Here in Illinois we're going to be doing the anti-snow dance.
