Lovely Ladies

A couple of years ago I made pin cushions out of old planters. I think they're darling, and I had a lot of fun with it. The whole process of finding the little planters, chosing the fabric, it all was fun. After I finished my batch of 15 or so, I couldn't find the little planters anymore, and the few I saw on ebay were way over my planter budget. I still love these little ladies. I hope they found good homes!

They are so sweet. Have you ever thought of using unusual shaped eggcups for pin cushions, if the little ladies are getting dear on ebay.

I love these. Each time I go on a blog I learn so much and see new things. I'm worried were all this new info is going to fit. I have never seen these planters but I'll keep an eye out for you.

I know this is an old post but I loved the pincushion you made for Monica. I have some teacups and dessert cups I could easily make pincushions out of. Question though - how did you secure the cushion into the hole? The one you gave Monica looks so well done and even. LIke a perfect cupcake top. And what did you use to stuff them? Would you mind sharing? I'd love to do this.
