I Blame You Amy!
Yeah, I do, I blame it all on Amy and her butterfly block tutorial. Somehow I thought I could make it smaller and make it not wonky, not to mention template free and you know what, I can't. And I've spent too many days thinking about it and working on it to even mention. So I've learned my lesson. Don't mess with Texas.. ooops, that' s another lesson. Don't mess with PERFECTION.

I will be doing a post tomorrow morning on Stash Manicure for Rae Ann. She asked me to write about using our stash to make the Butterfly quilt. I noticed you included so many of the blogs working on it right now. I will link to you too! I love your version.
Amy does tend to start these wonderful trends!! Yours are going to be so cute!
Hi Pam...I''m working on the butterfly quilt too!
Nedra started hers at our retreat at Rae Anns cabin and I had to get home and start one right away...I love your color and fabric choices....can't wait to see more of it!

I'd love to see more of your blocks put together as I think I like your light background, better than the black/dark backgrounds. Of course you use the beautiful Leicen fabric, so your butterflies will look like they're floating on air...
Oh I love the colors you are using! What great fabric choices. Can't wait to see more pictures as it comes together.
LOLLOLLOLLOL!!! I did the same THING...now I'm just wastin' fabric and makin' 'em wonky!
But they're so pretty! I'll stay tuned in to see what transpires....
Love how yours are turning out. I am afraid I would not be good at wonky, I Like the polka dot background.
First off, your butterfly squares are simply adorable! :-)
I just randomly came across your blog and was sitting here reading away when I saw your trip to Vegas. I thought is was kind of funny since I live in Vegas but even more interesting to see all the shops you visited. Ironically, I live a hop, skip and a jump from Quiltique AND my husband is their UPS man! Just a little meaningless info there for ya!
Okay, enough about my random silliness. LOVE your blog and will be adding it to my blog list!
Have a SUPER Day!

Oh great. Just great! Now look at what you MADE me want to do! More koolaid to drink :)
I love your blocks. I think you should write up your version
How many times do I have to say I'm sorry??? ;-b Your blocks are as sweet as can be -- all straight-laced and such. hee hee
OMG... more weepy cuteness. Stop it. I have work to do and can't do it weeping.
WOW girl...I am sooo Luvin' yours!!! I started to do the lighter background but didn't have enough yardage and I was 'antsy' to get to it and didn't want to wait for new fabric order...so, the brown I used was all I had enough yardage of and that was 2 yards and I've just about used that all up....I guess I'll make blocks until it runs out.
Yours are sweet and delicate!!
