Pockets
I know I haven't been up to much this summer. I don't know what my deal is, maybe it's just the waiting for fabric to come, or you know, maybe I'm just in slump. But yesterday I decided to get busy with something I've needed for a while. I'm not taking any credit for this idea, it's been around since I began blogging. I grabbed a $3.99 canvas work apron at the hardware store...
Opened the center pocket seam...
Opened the center pocket seam...
Played with my rabbit, then cut out some things to applique, threw in some rick rack, and sewed the center seam back up.
Ok, have a groovy weekend people. xo

Cute, cute...I have a couple of these in the sewing room and what a cute way to call it yours!!
cute and handy!
Oh TOO cute!
Perfect! I'm always leaving my phone upstairs in the sewing room because I'm usually not wearing something with pockets or simply lay it down and forget it. Thank you, thank you!
Do you have one of those fancy machines to cut out the letters? They look so even. I love the idea - I hadn't seen it before.
What a great top-less apron; perfect for those sweltering summer days!
Celine
Clever girl...and summer is the time to slowdown and rejuvenate! Enjoy it Pam.
TOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE! You say it's been around in blogland... first of seen is here - but whatever... you took it to the #omgtoocutebecauseit'sbygeniuspkm level!! You make magic happen with fabric and thread!
Just swoodit! (word verif)
So cute! Love the pockets!
Wait, is there a pocket big enough for the rabbit?? If not, you'll need to do it again. Or someone will disapprove. I'm just sayin'...
Love your little pockets!
(. . . & I love your little segway (sp?) of your bunny playtime into the project timeline!)
. . . All so cute!
xo, Bren
that is the cutest thing ever!!!!
The bunbun is adorable.
That Rabbit is so stinkin cute!!! It's too bad that I am deathly allergic. I will just have to admire the picture :).
I can't tell if Binnie approves or not. Doesn't really look like she does. You know, some of us put our critters IN our apron pockets...
Very groovy.
And rabbit playtime is always important.
That is such a good idea!!!!! I may have to copy this one.
So cute Pam and so YOU!
(Second comment) I love this idea Pam. I will use my fathers and add my personal touch. Wish I had more for my sisters to do the same.
One can NOT have too many pockets, in my opinion. Bring 'em on.
Cute Bunny!
Like the apron and it will look great over PJs ~ but love the rabbit!
Mine would also need a shortbread cookie pocket! Pet that adorable bunny for me...awwwwww! Pam in chico
The apron is cute but that bunny is adorable.
Nice! I love it, and over pjs your apron will be quite fashionable. Give Binnie (sp?) a kiss for me!
That's adorable Pam! I'm thinking we might need a picture of you modeling with your pjs and new apron LOL!
Groovy for sure! And Far out, righteous and gnarly dude! I love the bunny! Seriously. Do you really have a bunny? So cute! Now I must get to home depot and get an apron.
