Oh. . . by the way. . . guess what Dad's making this morning. . . Yep - those Pillsbury Grands cinnamon-y twisty things. (!) See! Easy & yet so yummy. Excuse me while Bailey & I go out for a walk . . . so that I can have one of them! ) xo, Bren
Next try making apple dumplings using crescent rolls..they are wonderful and only take a few minutes more than just opening the oven door...although I totally appreciate that too!
....hmmmmmm......looks good to me....but then I'm also the Queen of Laziness when it comes to putting forth any effort in the kitchen .... my motto "if somebody else is willing to make it ......I'm there!" ....and, "if somebody else is willing to make it AND clean it up, I'm definately there!"
I made a pear crisp the other night... and it's gone before the boy-folk could enjoy the left overs. It's not cheating... it's sparing our loved ones of calories and carbs. Gawd we are good people. Gold stars for us both.
I almost bought that mix....glad to see your post. From scratch is always the best.... anything worth anything takes time...I am sounding like my Grandmother I know....

Don't you just love it when you find things like that! (& I don't call it "cheating" . . . it's called being realistic. . . & wise!!!))

Hmmm....puff pastry from the freezer section of my grocers is MY way of cheating! How easy is that??? So little work with so many possibilities!

Mmmm! Looks great! I just finished a big bowl of cranberry apple crisp with whipped cream. I did make it homemade, but I must say yours looks better!

Thank you for the cute pattern. I hope I get time to try all the 12 Days patterns out before the holidays. What to do first?
