Mmm tasty!
I'm enjoying some casual sewing lately. When I saw Sandy's pattern for this darling cupcake quilt, I knew I'd have to make a small version for Frankie's Christmas tree. Nevermind that I've never made anything for our own. But its cupcakey goodness called out to me. In a very pretty pastel way. Blanket stitching is in my future! I love blanket stitching, so mindless really, just sewing and sewing.
Have a wonderful day my friends. The 1260 is in the house. I feel better now.
**Edited to add that Sandy added more patterns to her etsy shop! **

OK, I had to go order the pattern. I resisted it earlier (probably only because I forgot about it). It's too cute! Love your pretty pastels, of course!
Ooooh, are those cupcakes ever going to be cute! Can't wait to see the result. And I hate to appear so dumb, but what is the 1260 comment??? I'll probably slap my head and say duh when you say it -- it's too early for me!
Those cupcakes are lovely! And the colors? Just yummy!
Way too adorable. We'll be expecting lots of pics of Frankie's fully decorated apartment, of course.
I'm going to have to make that quilt. My daughters nickname is
cupcake! Love the colors.
Oh my, oh my! I want one! I hope she'll make some more patterns soon.
OMG Pam, that quilt is going to be killer!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!
I've just put 6 more patterns on Etsy & can always make more : )
Way cute! I love your fabric choices- make sure to post a picture when you are done!
Too cute! Can't wait to see it when you finish. I am going to have to ask you for blanket stitching tips, I love the way it looks but I have never been good at it. See you soon!
Sweet!
I loves me some blanket stitchin' too. Try it around the edge of something (besides a quilt) and add a bead every other stitch. Awesome!
Hey i like the bead idea Jen!! That would be wayyy cute.
Wow, what a neat cupcake quilt! Love those colors. Will you blanket stitch with those threads shown??? I too, don't understand what 1260 is??? Nor, do I get what an etsy shop is??? Don't mean to appear dumb...and if I can ask one more question, I've looked back but can't figure out who Frankie is??? Thanks!
Where did you get that cup that says I love my attitude problem? I need those for my new store club ... Roseann
So cute. I had to go online and order a pattern. Yes, we need a blanket-stitching lesson from you Pam.
