It's Cotton Time

Hahaha I think I'm so funny! Ok, I'll snap out of it. I was looking at my Cotton Time this morning with my coffee. It's a great magazine, and this month's edition is really wonderful. It just kills me though I can't read every little word on there. Like what does it say in the two o's?

I love the photography in the Japanese craft books. So many perfect little props. And the lighting.. we'll it's a whole wonderful style that I love. And let's face it, the projects are darling too. Maybe it's the fact that I can't read it that makes it so good? I'm not really sure but I love it.

Not much doing here in Pamkittyville. Nothing worth photographing anyway. I vacuumed yesterday, and according to the clear canister it's been a while! Which is weird because I like vacuuming. But it was just stuff like that. I'm savoring every moment of the cooler weather we've been having. Bret came home early and we had a chance to go out and have a nice dinner over in Pleasanton. So August started out pretty good. How about for you?

What a great way to start the day. And the month.

Not knowing what it says adds a lot of dramatic mystery. Imaginations can really run amok.

August is off to a good start here. Thanks for sending some of the heat my way.

I have had my dear college roommate with me for 4 days! Today she had to leave and I am feeling blue. I need to get sewing. Making new valances for the bedrooms out of Valori Well's birds. They will look adorable when completed. Sewing is just good for everything that ails me!

Of course I got that one too. I'm having a hard time resisting any of the new quilting mags at Superbuzzy. I have a new stack (well the past summer stack) sitting next to my chair in the family room. When Dave turns to a show I hate I start to thumb through and put in my ipod. Thats living.
