Spring fever
Thanks for all the great comments and helpful hints yesterday. I know they'll make all the difference in piecing those curves.
For the most part, I spent the day out back pruning roses and pulling weeds, with some sewing and internet thrown in. That dose of sunshine was just what I needed for sure. I'm sorry I can't bottle it up for all you people who need it. I know we'll be back to gloom soon but for now I have to live it up. Plans for the weekend?? Tell all!

3 whole days (Ok, probably sometime in the kitchen at least getting food out) in my sewing room! Yippee skip...its a very busy Spring in my family so it maybe my last time for a few weeks. Have a great weekend Pam. And isn't CA weather the best!
I will be spending time with Dad and hug Mom. The plan also includes a bit of truffle making and a batch of friendship coffee to whip up. Libby takes the ACT tomorrow morning...that's right, twelve years old and taking the ACT! I am excited, she's not so excited. There is also that stack of a hundred or so essays to grade...phew! ~Kelly
Gorgeous flowers! This weekend I'm waiting for kidney stones (plural) to pass or at least not send me BACK to the ER. I'll have them removed Monday but have to tough it out (with good drugs) til then. Yesterday I was back at the ER & got some GOOD meds but decided quickly that "do not operate machinery" probably included a rotary cutter & sewing machine! LOL! Hoping to get to do some sewing this weekend---sans drugs!
I'm headed to a petite four class, so excited. There will probably be some weed pulling and sewing thrown in as well. I think the weeds are winning in our yard.
We have the 2 grandsons for last night, today and tonight which means I'll be washing floors tomorrow! It's amazing how much food and juice can end up on a floor with boys. I need to install grates under their chairs. We are actually close to 40 degrees today and are supposed to get near 50 by Wednesday. That'll give me spring fever.
