Aftermath

Check out Monica's blog for these cute notes, and these cute light bulbs!
To make Frankie's cute pompom garland just string some puffy pompoms onto some perle cotton and string your lights on in a manner that pleases you. To add fabric appliques to a napkin, just trace the outline of Monica's light bulbs onto fusible web and fuse onto some Holiday Happy Fabric for the bulbs and maybe if you're lucky like me you'll have some super-coordinating dots from Elizabeth's collection Red Rose Farm to use as little bulb tops.. and fuse to your napkins. All I need on these is some blanket stitching to finish them off. Wouldn't these be cute around the cuff of a pillow case or strung on rick rack across dishtowel? I could go gnoma-nuts!

I think a lot of you know Glenna already! It's always great to see her and get a good chat in!
I did manage to hobble over and see Mary Andra. Could anyone bet any sweeter? I love her wonderful red and white schoolhouse quilt. I love things that chain don't you? And red and white.. holy cow!

So you can see, I couldn't be luckier in the friend department. And honestly, these photos were just the tip of the friend filled bucket. I am so sorry that I missed seeing so many people or even if I saw them getting back to get their pictures. Can't believe my girl will be 23! So here's my happy weekend wishes for you peoples. You're all the greatest. xo
Here I am with my friend Jen, you probably know her better as Tula Pink. We met Jen way back when. I'm so excited for her and Parisville and all the wonderful things she has going on in Pinkerville.
Ahh the Mod Squad. I know that Patty and JJ Young need no introduction! But that mysterious blonde woman.. well she might. That's the very famous, or is that infamous JCaroline!!
Here's my sweet friend Kelly! I was so happy to meet up with her in person. Check out her blog, she's got some very charming projects there.. not to mention a great market recap.
Debra Lynn Taylor !!! I follow her on twitter and of course we all know her from the Fat Quarter Shop. Here she is on her birthday at quilt market!
Yes that's Gina behind those glasses. Blogger, shop owner, pattern designer and all around quilt business guru!!!
Here's I am with Pat Sloan. Holy cow does that woman ever sit still? Probably not as she's doing it all and having it all.
And ohmygosh this little pixie from Australia. I was so lucky to get a chance to chat it up with Natalie. So cute and so clever. I hope you visit her blog and get to know her if you don't already. Darling.

Everyone here knows Brenda right? (she's participating in the Mistletoe Make and Bake so get over there for the list of people and the recipes.) She was showing her line Georgia Lou with Lecien.
Here's Elizabeth with Sandy!
And here are the fabulous House women, Cherri and Lizzy. I think they were the first friendly faces we saw coming into the convention center to unpack.
And by block number #196, aka Summer Picnic.
Here's #196 in it's natural habitat, the chenille bedspread in Frankie's room.
Be sure and hop on over to Quiltmaker's Blog and check out all the other designers and their blocks. It's another fabulous magazine chock full of inspiration!
Pretty much after this point, the finishing up of the booth, the trip took a bit of a downturn for me, starting happily with a walk over to the delightful Fabric 2.0 party and ending with me taking a bit of a spill out back. And believe me, didn't even have a cocktail to blame it on.
