Impromptu

Even though I didn't have a car yesterday, I still managed to get out! Elizabeth came to my rescue and we went on a little trip to The Quilter's Inn. The place was MOBBED. We saw some famous people (I'm talking about you BariJ) and some great sewing friends.

Janis was having her drop in sewing class so there were tons of people there! Here's a sample of some of the amazing sewing going on, this is Stephanie Costello's wonderful collage table runner. The picture in no way does it justice, it was AMAZING. Everything about it was good. It just said sunshine to me. So good.

I even got home in time to vacuum and hop on the treadmill with some Cold Case to watch. So how was your day?

You sure know how to have fun! My day? I ate too many crabby patties or something. I think it was all the people who were DRIVING TOO SLOW (even when the roads were clear of the S word...). But the sun is shining so far today.... Thanks for asking. :-)

I love to watch Cold Case. It's one of my favorite shows to quilt to! What did I do yesterday, you ask? Well...I chased around my 4 y/old twins, got a little hand sewing done on my Baltimore Album quilt, and did a small amount of piecing for a Kaffee Fasset jelly roll quilt. Didn't get to see Cold Case though....

I am sniffling that I miss the good road trips! I mean, I'd drive! I'd provide snacks! I'm generally funny and good company!!

The commute would be a killer though...................

My day wasnt sooo hotsy totsy, really - wish I had been with you, then hubby would have had to clean up the washer that overflowed from the frozen drain pipe. Thank goodness that's all it was!! Today I got to rinse that load, and did do 3 bindings - so pretty good day today, all in all!!

Oh, hi. I just came in from the porch. It started raining, and I held up my handbag which had been nicely right there on my lap, well, I held it up over my head to try to stay dry, well anyway, it is a covered porch so I was dry but I wanted to make you feel a little bit guilty what with the rain and all, and me sitting here on the front porch just a waiting with my handbag on my lap and pursed lips and squinty eyes looking down the road to see if you were coming for me.

Oh my! That Stephanie is my sweet sister who ran away to CA and left me here in the UK!! Ain't she a clever-gotta-great-eye-for-colour type?
My day? Vastly improved, thanks to your blog post!
