Fresh
It's a gloomy day here in Pamkittyville, weather wise anyway! I don't mind though, it's a perfect day to stay home and do something. Ok, I admit it, I'm TRAPPED home as my car is in the shop. Drat. But on the bright side, I have some new magazines to read. And plenty of vacuuming. Color is really making me happy lately. These two magazines covers have me all excited about spring. I just want to make stuff when I see them.

Bah on spammers, as Willie Wonka in the Chocolate factory I always remember his line 'Good morning starsshine the earth says hello!' that bit gives me giggles every time....bring on spring
I was just looking at Etsy and saw an afghan in aqua and cherry that made me think of you - hope you like it!

Plenty of "vacuuming"?! I hope that's codeword for "sewing". :D
Hi Miss Pam!!! Just thought I'd pop in to say hello, I haven't been blogging much in a while but plan to get back to it! I have the Fresh Home magazine sitting on my coffee table and I just love the colors on the cover too! XOXO
Well, Jack is missing yet another day of mega expensive preschool because I also have a car in the shop. I am on load 128 of laundry (with 134 to go I am sure) and I really need to get in the sewing room and attempt to clean that freaking mess up. But it's scary.
Yep, I grabbed that Nordstrom catalog cover for my inspiration board this month. I am throwing out years worth of magazines this week and emptying my sewing room , getting ready for the floor to be refinished and a new paint job. Tiffany blue I'm thinking.
Say, would you leave those daffodils right where they are so I can see them all day? Thanks!
Loving all the color too! I'm off to QI this am... :)
In going thru my old magazines to tear out what I have to keep, I discovered I'd already started tearing up that new Country Living! Yikes! BUT, there's the most GORGEOUS doormat ever in that issue and you'd better believe I'll be ordering it!
I have cleaning to do today. I also should be outside doing some clean-up work out there but it's way to cold and damp! Mr. Sunshine, come back!!!!!
I need to take Maggie to Petco to get her Denta Bones - girls have to have a nice smile. Then tonight I'm taking a quilt top to put it on the quilting machine so I can get it finished for retreat.
There goes Monday...
I'd much rather read magazines than vacuum. Unless it means something else like Pookie said-sewing!
Let's recap:
Vacuuming=Sewing
Treadmill=Donuts
Those daffodils are schweet!
Also, why is it that on most any day of the year, I wish that I could just stay home and not have to go out at all, but if my car is unavailable, all I want to do is GO SOMEWHERE???
Oh Pam! Thank you for the daffodils - we won't be seeing any here for months!
still shoveling out from under 11" of snow that fell last week and rumor has it that there is more on the way ---- BOOOO HISSSSS I prefer Gloomy!
CLEANING!
PURGING!
i'm getting started early on my spring cleaning and trying to get rid of things i don't *love*. the only problem is, i keep talking myself into keeping things!!
i already signed up for the salvation army guy to pick up 6 bags of STUFF later on this week, so i HAVE to come up with six bags of stuff!!
off to go through the kitchen cupboards and get rid of any pans/utensils i haven't used this year!
I love how KathiD has decoded your tweets and posts!
I'm trapped too, but no cool code words for me. I'm just too lazy. Hope you're having a great day!
PS... New scallop and I've gone wider too. To make my butt look smaller.
When I saw your dafs, I thought perhaps I'd pick some up this afternoon to brighten up my sewing room. Then I remembered my cats will just eat them. *sigh*
Maybe I'll just put up a photo of some.
Give me some pretty magazines and the world can go away for a week.
Brenda
No daffodils for me. I'm allergic. I am super busy at work getting ready for a new data base system. I know it will be a couple of months before it is smooth sailing.
Those daffodils are beautiful...they just say happy!
Ohh...just cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning. So much infact I dream about organizing in my sleep.
Color?!!! Me, too!
Did you get pounded with rain last night? We sure did!
hugs,
B
Is "amping" color the new way to describe making your color "pop"?
Oh the daffodils are pretty! We won't get ours for a month yet.
