Fresh

It's a gloomy day here in Pamkittyville, weather wise anyway! I don't mind though, it's a perfect day to stay home and do something. Ok, I admit it, I'm TRAPPED home as my car is in the shop. Drat. But on the bright side, I have some new magazines to read. And plenty of vacuuming. Color is really making me happy lately. These two magazines covers have me all excited about spring. I just want to make stuff when I see them.

Even the January Nordstrom catalog is telling me to get busy.

Here's my sunshine today. I love those mini daffodils, what about you? I could carry this pot around the house with me so where ever I am they're cheering me on.

Ok, what's up with you guys?

Hi Miss Pam!!! Just thought I'd pop in to say hello, I haven't been blogging much in a while but plan to get back to it! I have the Fresh Home magazine sitting on my coffee table and I just love the colors on the cover too! XOXO

Well, Jack is missing yet another day of mega expensive preschool because I also have a car in the shop. I am on load 128 of laundry (with 134 to go I am sure) and I really need to get in the sewing room and attempt to clean that freaking mess up. But it's scary.

Yep, I grabbed that Nordstrom catalog cover for my inspiration board this month. I am throwing out years worth of magazines this week and emptying my sewing room , getting ready for the floor to be refinished and a new paint job. Tiffany blue I'm thinking.

Say, would you leave those daffodils right where they are so I can see them all day? Thanks!

In going thru my old magazines to tear out what I have to keep, I discovered I'd already started tearing up that new Country Living! Yikes! BUT, there's the most GORGEOUS doormat ever in that issue and you'd better believe I'll be ordering it!

I have cleaning to do today. I also should be outside doing some clean-up work out there but it's way to cold and damp! Mr. Sunshine, come back!!!!!

I need to take Maggie to Petco to get her Denta Bones - girls have to have a nice smile. Then tonight I'm taking a quilt top to put it on the quilting machine so I can get it finished for retreat.

There goes Monday...

I'd much rather read magazines than vacuum. Unless it means something else like Pookie said-sewing!

Let's recap:

Vacuuming=Sewing
Treadmill=Donuts

Those daffodils are schweet!

Also, why is it that on most any day of the year, I wish that I could just stay home and not have to go out at all, but if my car is unavailable, all I want to do is GO SOMEWHERE???

I love how KathiD has decoded your tweets and posts!

I'm trapped too, but no cool code words for me. I'm just too lazy. Hope you're having a great day!

PS... New scallop and I've gone wider too. To make my butt look smaller.

When I saw your dafs, I thought perhaps I'd pick some up this afternoon to brighten up my sewing room. Then I remembered my cats will just eat them. *sigh*
Maybe I'll just put up a photo of some.

No daffodils for me. I'm allergic. I am super busy at work getting ready for a new data base system. I know it will be a couple of months before it is smooth sailing.

Is "amping" color the new way to describe making your color "pop"?

Oh the daffodils are pretty! We won't get ours for a month yet.
