Looking

I'm having one of those let down days, you know, where the majority of the work is behind you and suddenly you have a moment to let down. Not that in anyway do I do even a fraction of the work Elizabeth does, or any of the other designers. I think of my pattern, sew it up, turn over some crappy instructions to Elizabeth and she turns it into a pattern that someone might be able to make. So I have it pretty easy. But still, its one of those days.

I am seriously counting my blessings. There are tons of jobs out there that I just wouldn't want. When I feel like this...

I really try and look on the brightside.

So peoples, we're closing in on market. I sent off Laurie's purse yesterday, and I have just one thing left to work on! It involves the embroidery machine, so that might have me in a pickle but I'll work on it. This time next week I'll be meeting and greeting. And taking tons of photos. So have a good weekend my special peeps. xo

I love this, Pam! And you know what I do when I get out the embroidery machine - a jar of sweet pickles - they make me happy enough to forget about my uneasiness with the darn thing!
Cheers!

That is hillarious! I would much rather be getting ready for Market than be a walking pickle advertisement! I wish we could be there. See you at Houston though?

What does it say about me when some days I would really RATHER be the pickle? Maybe it says I need a different job! That actually looks kind of fun to me right now.

I was having a bad day one day and I went to get a cup of coffee at Panera Bread. The name of the coffee was "Bright and Balanced". lol I was feeling anything but bright and balanced, but it made me laugh much like I'm sure the Brightside sign made you laugh.

I'm excited to see what you designers have come up with. I know it's hard work. I really appreciate everything you all do to make us so excited about quilting.

Have fun in Pittsburgh! I lived in PA for several years. Maybe you'll learn some "Pittsburghese", their own little language. It's fun. Instead of cleaning your house, you will say you are "redding up the house". My neighbor told me that one day and I thought she was painting her house red.
