Seriously
I had the hardest time keeping on track yesterday. Probably because I'd come back to the computer to work on my pattern instructions and keep finding great posts on Bloglines. Like Nanette talking about her Easter Dresses. My mom used to make them too. This picture was taken Easter 1957, I was almost 3. I found another picture where I was 8. If it wasn't for the bobby socks, the suit I was wearing made me look like I was going to secretarial school. Do they even still have secretarial schools? Then Candace had a great picture of an owl, and Jackie had a bobcat. Miss Polka Dot just got back from a good vacation, Lizzie is cracking herself up and working on her new fabric... it's very cute so check it out. Tracy is working on some software of the computer and fabric kind and her output is darling! And lastly, apparently Anna has company. She doesn't find it funny. (but I kinda do)
Back to work.

What a cutie! I'm about your age and I remember my mom making a new dress each Easter....usually dotted swiss. I remember always being so excited about the little hats too!
Oh, what a little sweetie you were -- standing there clutching your bunny in the bright sun! (And did you notice that lock on the garage door -- I had completely forgotten about those little slider bars that were used to secure garage doors -- long before garage door openers!) And ok, I guess I'll have to laugh with you and YOUR squirrel!
Hi Pam - thanks for the "linky luv" - I just posted a photo for you on my blog and came over to find this! You are adorable in your little dress - and the bunny....so precious! Your outfit looks just like my first communion outfit from those days - we felt so special!
Cheers!
OH you couldn't be sweeter or dressed more perfectly! aahhhh. them good ol' days. I sure do miss 'em.
I have a picture of myself in an Easter dress that I am not sure I have the courage to share. I look like a total dork. I have braids and thick bangs, a frilly dress with ankle socks, and am holding my Easter basket with the most simpering expression you ever saw. Nope. Not sharing it!
My gosh that pic is so cute. You had the poofy slip too. Dig that hat. It has a v in the front. You look so fresh and crisp. Ahhh those were the days. Thanks for sharing that with us. You are so cute.
I think Anna's visitor is kinda funny too. I instantly thought of you, as soon as I saw the picture, before I saw the post! LOL Sorry Anna.
You are so sweet in that picture! I love the little Easter Bonnet too! Yes, Anna had asked if she could borrow my bobcat to take care of her squirrel. Then she said something about cat poop will ward off squirrels. Maybe you should try that with your little squirrelly friend, or I could send a bobcat your way?
You are so cute!!! I love your little flared skirt and socks.
Precious...simply precious!!
((hugs))

You are so cute in that photo! I love the big bow in the back of your dress and your perfectly tied bows on your shoes (did you tie them?) haha:)
I joined the Easter Dress Parade and posted a few photos of my own.
What a great idea Eileen had!

Awww! So stinkin' cute you are!
That's gorgeous. Those socks! My mom used to lay out our dresses with little white socks, a purse and a hat that was hard yet lacy too. My sister and I would wake up and find them hanging from our doorknobs. So fun! I feel guilty not getting daughter as dolled up these days.
Awwww... What a cutie : )
Wasn't it the best time, getting some lacy new dress, white socks and Mary Janes and a new hat...sigh. Why don't we do that know (well, with out the white socks I guess!)
That is the cutest photo. Love the dress and those socks and shoes. Are you wearing a tiara or an Easter bonnet? Very cute.
Oh look at you!!!! HOW CUTE! I think I know what you were saying when the photo was snapped.
Pam: Can I go down the street and around the corner and play with that zombie girl?
Pam's mom: No honey, you have a wait another year or so until she's born.
I'm gonna look in my photos and see if I can find an Easter pic of me in The PKM/HZ Childhood Hood too.
PS... love all the links and think Anna's is so funny too. Sorry Anna!
I think you need to post more of these pictures of yourself. I love them. You are still a lady even if you've lost the gloves and sweet little hat.
