Cutting and Sewing
Been working on my stunt sewing lately. Can't show that off, but I'll sneak you a peek at the strips. So pretty and cool looking.
They go with some pretty Kaffe border fabric. I love looking at the strips all piled up and tidy looking.
I'm much farther along now, doing some machine quilting. Thank goodness for my Borders Made Easy paper, I'd be lost without it.

I love the fabric, was it purchased locally? Will you be able to post a picture of the completed quilt?
I can't wait to see more. I love the colors.
Mmmm loving those fabrics. So refreshing! I love your mug too!
Stunt sewing!!!!! I love the visual that creates. So many possibilities.....
- Pam hanging from the ceiling in a harness while she completes border.
- Pam turning the sewing machine around and stitching backwards.
See what I mean?
I'm loving that beautiful floral fabric. It's making me twitch and the only cure is a trip to the fabric store. Now you've gone and done it.

Happy 2 year bloggiversary!! It's mine today too!
You have way more to show for your two years than I do - unless you want to count projects I'm INTENDING to do...
Gorgeous colors! Those would be refreshing to work with right now!
yummylicious! the colors remind me of after dinner mints! Thanks for the secret link to your border quilting!
I can hardly stand it!!! Do we get to see more later??? I'm going to try the borders made easy on my next project....Thanks for the advise:) Kathie
Great fabric selection! The finished product will no doubt be beautiful!
I want to pop those strips in the freezer.
And then eat them.
Wow! Those colors are beautiful! I hope you can eventually show us!!!
Yummy colors. I never answered your question about the Borders Made Easy i bought. I got Border Pattern #113. I don't see a name associated with it. I haven't used it yet, but very anxious too.

E stole my comment, so I want to pop them in a sugar cone and lick them.
Stunt sewing? wow, I'm going to have to learn how to do that!! I can hardly wait to find out what that means! LOL!
Scrumptious fabrics---great colors, and oh, that Kaffe Fasset border will be to die for.
Will have to peek back and see what you're up to!

Those colors are gorgeous. I hope you will let us know when and where we can see the finished project.
I am curious about the Borders Made Easy. I just went to their website and read the tutorial. They are located somewhat close to where I live! I sent them an email to ask a few questions. Sooooooo, what I am wondering - any tips? Secrets? Shortcuts? How are you using these? With a walking foot? A BSR? Do tell more. :D

There is nothing like some Kaffe fabric. Come over and see my quilt I just sandwiched with some Kaffe and friends.
