Cutting and Sewing

Been working on my stunt sewing lately. Can't show that off, but I'll sneak you a peek at the strips. So pretty and cool looking.

They go with some pretty Kaffe border fabric. I love looking at the strips all piled up and tidy looking.
I'm much farther along now, doing some machine quilting. Thank goodness for my Borders Made Easy paper, I'd be lost without it.

I love the fabric, was it purchased locally? Will you be able to post a picture of the completed quilt?

Stunt sewing!!!!! I love the visual that creates. So many possibilities.....

- Pam hanging from the ceiling in a harness while she completes border.

- Pam turning the sewing machine around and stitching backwards.

See what I mean?

I'm loving that beautiful floral fabric. It's making me twitch and the only cure is a trip to the fabric store. Now you've gone and done it.

Yummy colors. I never answered your question about the Borders Made Easy i bought. I got Border Pattern #113. I don't see a name associated with it. I haven't used it yet, but very anxious too.

I am curious about the Borders Made Easy. I just went to their website and read the tutorial. They are located somewhat close to where I live! I sent them an email to ask a few questions. Sooooooo, what I am wondering - any tips? Secrets? Shortcuts? How are you using these? With a walking foot? A BSR? Do tell more. :D
