Anything looks good on chenille
Except perhaps my flower block. Too much chunky plaid going on there in the center. What was I thinking?
I don't mean to gloat but I've had the windows open several days now.. not all day, but for periods of time. My whole backyard smells like Violets. And look what came in the mail this weekend from the lovely Brenda! Her new book is a delight, the presentation, the graphics and well, you know, THE QUILTS.My not sunny photos don't do it justice.
Ok my lovely Violet blossoms, I need to get busy getting ready. Elizabeth and I are on a mission today. Have fun.

Violets! VIOLETS???? Harumph woman, ha-rumph.
It was almost 80 yesterday and quite glorious. Today it is raining and cold, on its way to below freezing with weather starring freezing rain and sleet giving way to up to 10 inches of snow. VIOLETS! :) Geez, you are killin' me!!!!!
Your little blossom is quite cheery, and if I know you, you will tweak it until it achieves your (high) measure of perfection.
Thanks for the book peek, looks enchanting!!!!
I ilove that little blossom of your. Love it, love it.
Yeah Brenda! Must get my hands on that book.
Have fun on your mission today! xom
Love the flower, the violets and THAT BOOK. I bought a kit aand that book from Kris at Road to Ca. LOVE IT!!!! Love you!!!
(Sniffing) Nope, all I can smell is the dog poop that's getting revealed as the snow melts.
The violets are not yet blooming over here on the less fashionable side of town. I should probably go out and check to make sure they weren't STOLEN or something. You know how it is in my neighborhood.
OK!!!!! I am so jealous!! It is in the 30's with snow and we are supposed to get 3-5 inches of more snow tonight! I'm home with sick kids today too! So.... enjoy your beautiful California weather! Spring is just around the corner, right?!
See ya soon!
Hey Pam Kitty,

Your "gloating" makes me extremely jealous. The violets are to die for. Acutally so is the chenille block. I like it just as it is. I'll have to look into that book. More escapdes with Elizabeth. Sounds like so much fun.
