So what are you up to? I can't believe (as I say every week) that another week has flown by.  Did you get what you wanted done or are you just happy to see the tail end of it?

fat quarter bags
Got some sewing done yesterday. Elizabeth has made my Fat Quarter Bag available in pdf form, and I thought I'd whip up a couple just for fun.  What I like about them is the ease of construction and the fact that I can make up a bag out of those fat quarters I've  collected!  I also like that the flap has a magnet sewn into the flap to keep it closed.
Anyway, that's about here. I hope you are still following the Quiltmaker 100 Blocks blog tour!  It's been fun right? Thanks for all the really nice comments yesterday. I totally appreciate them!!
Ok, hope you all have a happy weekend! xo

And like every week, you have something lovely to show for it. You are an inspiration. I hope your
weekend is long and happily memorable.

I was really happy to "see" it end as I had cataract surgery on my right eye on Tuesday and today is the first day I can use the computer. The left eye is in a couple of weeks. The parts are failing as I approach 60!

yes, I did get a few things done this week... and the fact that 2 of them were way past due only made the accomplishments even sweeter!

Really cute bags Pam - I love a fat quarter project too! I am very happy it's the weekend - and we are finally having gorgeous weather- clear blue skies and not too hot and not too cold. Autumn in Brisbane (Australia) is so beautiful. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
