Good Morning!
So how was the weekend peoples? We had an impromptu visit from Frankie at the end of last week which was a lovely treat.
It was nice and sunny yesterday, so we did some miscellaneous stuff in the yard. Nothing exciting, just basic yard cleanup. It was a very relaxing day. Honestly we could be professional relaxers.. its a gift people.
In other news, Alex gave me a couple of Honey Bear patterns and 4-in-1 tools to share with you... so as usual leave a comment and I'll draw some names later in the week, lets say Thursday?
I'm going to have to turn word verification back on for a while, the spam comments are driving me nuts. I hate to do it as I know it's a hassle for you guys. If it doesn't slow down the weirdos then I'll turn it back off.
So that's it people. What's new with you?

I did a little sewing this weekend, swap blocks that need to be on the way to Paris in a few weeks. totally different style for me, Kaffe Fassett with scrappy fabrics. Fun! And I'd love to have Alex's new tools, thanks for asking!
I did a major push to get some things finished this weekend.
Dang Spammers.
I'm hoping to get out to my Quilt Buddies more than one day this week, Celebrating DH 56th B-day today, so gotta make him a PIE...
Where do these spammers come from?? They need to get a life! How sweet of Alex to share. Her new 4 in 1 tool looks great! Have a wonderful week :-)
I have started to clean out my studio! It's a HUGE job!!! Our guild is having a purging sale and I'm hoping to make millions!!! (LOL well, a couple of hundred maybe) I should have started at the beginning of the weekend. Today is Family Day here in Alberta, Canada so it's a day off and I can get back out there!!!
Somewhere I read that if you set the word verification for comments to only be for posts that are older than 14 days, it will solve the problem? For some reason, most spam hits older posts which is lucky -- that way current post commenters don't have to do the word verification. Have your spams been attached to older posts and would that work for you?
sorry to hear about those anoying spammers!
Loved having a quite weekend to get some projects finished. WHAT, I got a project finished??? I'm hearing the thunders roar! But, I did, I got some projects finished. I'll be mailing my sister in law her applique pillow this week that I made for her. Now on to the other 999 UFPs.
Oh and good morning to you...I would love to concur, we need a gathering of professional relaxers, imagine how quiet our world would be>? lol
You certainly love life don't you...
you make sew many of us smile and think...
blessings madame samm
Sorry about the spammers. I love reading your blog!
We had a nice few days away up north...last night I did some late night surfing and ordered the Japanese Pink Patchwork book for my MIL for her birthday...she was just drooling over it this summer when you and Freda posted about it... and of course to get the free ship minimum I ordered a little something for myself!
Please include me in your giveaway.
Trying to finish some applique projects and also crocheting.

Such a darling pattern. I had planned to sew this weekend, but my kids were here...that's the only thing more fun than stitching.
I would love to get some UFO's finished but with the kitchen table as my work space (that has to be cleared off for meals) and 3 kids (9-14) that have to be shuttled around I have no time! I only ever get things worked on when I am taking a class. I guess I have to take more classes then!
The only yard work we have in Pennsylvania is shoveling snow! It is really bad here this year but it gives me a great excuse to stay in my sewing room for hours! Love the honey bears!
I had close to 150 people over this weekend to say goodbye to my son that is leaving for 2 years. I am looking for a massage today. LOL!
A special thanks to Alex for the 4 in 1 tool and pattern . How fun!
What a fun giveaway. Sorry to hear about the spammers. I've had a few, but seems that with word verification I don't get any. Good luck.
Good Morning to you PKM! It's a fine day in Chico and I am off to sew with friends at Honey Run. Finished a Rounierres Charm Quilt this weekend and am getting ready to teach Liberated Baskets again at Morning Star on Saturday. And it's Lulu's 26th birthday today! Mexican food for dinner, yippee! I had just seen that darling AA pattern advertised somewhere and thought oooohhh I want that! And a cool tool? Yes! So drop my name in the bucket for the drawing. And have a mighty fine week! Pam in Chico
I love your blog and I would just love to win!
Oh! What a cute pattern! and the 4-in-1 tool looks marvelous....I hope you pick me! Thanks so much for thinking of us out here in blogland!
4 in 1 tool? Can it help a spaz like me?
Count me in, I need all the help I can get!
Gracias por compartir, ponga por favor mi nombre en los papelitos.

I would love to win one of those goodies...always enjoy your blog!
I've had my eyes on one of those great 4 in 1 tools. Getting ready to come to CA to see my daughter & grandson. Can't wait!
Dreamed about yard work...no snow but too windy and cold here in the desert. I can't wait to see my roses again! 12 million things to sew and only got 11/2 done this weekend...have a lovely week!
Professional relaxer. I love it! How can I become one? That 4 in 1 looks interesting.
We babysat our 2 grandsons over night. When they got picked up Sunday and were gone, my husband asked me, "Was that just 24 hours or were they here for a week?"!! We were tired. So no sewing for me this weekend. No yard work either as the ground that is showing is frozen. Supposed to get 8-10 inches tomorrow. We've had very little snow this year so I guess I'm due. They've been getting it all south of us.
I think it's okay to have the word verification on.....
on another note, love this 4 in 1 tool! Very useful!
I am busy taking no prisioners when I finish a project. I am determined to use up all of the fabric when the main project is done. So far it is working out pretty good. I am having to stretch my bitsy brain a bit but it is fun! You continue to just be an inspiration to me and so many others. Alex is wonderful to give you things to pass along. I would be please to participate in your giveaway. So far this year I have 18 projects finished and more to be added to the list soon. I am always excited to read your blog.

I am home sick for California! Send me some sunshine, please! I am about to be snowed in again! Gotta start organizing my sewing room!
BTW word verification does not bother me!
Ilove me some good relaxing!
I've been quilting all morning. Sometimes it's just no fun knowing that you have hours of quilting left to do no matter how much you like to quilt. Could use a little relaxing, do you have any tips?
Since I am working on improving my applique skills, the prize would be well used. Thanks. jonesjo@gmail.com
Enjoying a long weekend with a little sewing,reading,relaxing... and enjoying the sun today before a snow storm tomorrow.
No worries on the word verification. I just recently turned mine off to try it, but I don't get the traffic that you do.
Thanks for the give away
SheilaC
Nice give aways!!
What did I do this weekend??? Stayed in bed, sneezing, coughing, coughing, sneezing. :-(
The word verification doesnt bother me. I use it too.
Hugs
The honey bears are so doggone cute! Thanks for the giveaway. I made a couple of quilt tops and a sock monkey while we've had all this snow in PA! How does one get a job as a professional relaxer? That would be awesome!!! Take care....piece.
Took a break from putting together a couple of purses(gift requests), I always wait until the last minute if somebody asks, LOL! Would love one of Alex's tool, have been watching for one, not much to choose from in small towns! Love your blog, check it every day.
I would love to win the 4 in 1 tool. It just looks so great. Thanks for the chance.
Wow, you've been a busy camper! I just took my word verification off. Hopefully it won't be a problem.
The scotty on your valentine is begging to be embroidered.
How sweet of you to have a drawing. Count me in. What a way to perk up February!
wow - do i ever love that 'honey bear' pattern. reminds me so much of when i lived in prescott, az, and the plastic factory would produce those plastic bottles for real honey. my husband worked there for one summer in 1967. and, i can always use a good essential sewing tool. please count me in. thanks much,
rita

I enjoy reading your blog. I would love to win either item.
Glad to hear you had fun in the garden/yard.
The pattern is very cute and the tool looks like a winner all by itself!
Oh how I'd love to be the winner!! I found your blog quite by accident but glad I did. You are one busy lady!
This past weekend I recovered from the stomach flu - yuck!!! However I did get some hand work done.

I'd love some sunshine and warm weather here. Got up this morning to snow! Nothing like they had up East, but enough for a slippery ride in to work. So, could you work on sending some of that sunshine here?

Hi Pam! I'm sitting here with the kiddos looking at your pictures of Binnie. My son would love for me to make him the honey bears quilt--please enter me in your drawing!! Thanks!! <3 Jen
How nice of you to have a giveaway for Alex's wonderful pattern and that tool I hear so much about! I love reading what you are doing! Bonnie Nyuquist bonniesline@aol.com
Cute stuff from Alex. I hate those spammers. But I hate word verification too. Too bad a few spoil it.
I love Alex's four in one tool. Would love to win the pattern.
I have heard that the 4 in 1 tool is really useful. Enter me in the drawing please.
I don't mind the word verification. The "words" are so curious.
I have been looking for one of Alex's new tools. I'm a gadget kind of gal. Hope you draw my name!!
Alex's "Honey Bears" pattern sure looks cute. I just finished and presented Alex's butterfly quilt to my mom on her 90th birthday. She loved it!! I now realize that I could be a professional relaxer too! Practice makes perfect.
It appears Russia got it's internet fixed... I'm having a lot of spam the week too. One day last week I was getting a couple hundred an hour. And then poof... I think their internet broke again. But I think they fixed it again. Sad face. Annoying face.
I think your comment field is easy, so I don't mind. Happy face.
I've been trying to finish up a quilt for a fundraiser for my husband's choir, but I have been sick for going on three weeks, so it's slow-going. This cold has taken up permanent residence in my sinuses I think.

Thanks for a chance to win some
goodies from Alex.
Hi Pam. I'd love to win one of the Honey Bear patterns - they are too cute for words - and I could use something to brighten up my world of snow. I live in the mid-Atlantic and survived 2 blizzards in 4 days! The news people are saying we've had more snow than Buffalo, NY this winter, which is completely unbelievable. Thanks for the giveaway.
Thanks for the giveaway.
I have seen that tool in the quilt magazines. Wow! But wowie, wow, wow, that honey bear quilt is the cutest thing ever!
I have a few things going on in my sewing world. Still in the collection phase of a signature quilt for my mom's 70th birthday. And a zebra stripe had bag for another birthday girl. It is turning out so cute. Thanks for asking.
How I would love to win the tool and/or the pattern. Thank you and Alex for sharing with us. I fully understand about not wanting the spam. If it takes us a couple extra seconds to comment, then so be it. :-) Take care and God bless, Cory
Nothing much new around here other than the fact that I am sick! Oh, and my Mum gave me four Clover soft touch crochet hooks for Valentine's. I had one before (J) which I use for everything and am super-excited to have more sizes now!
LOVE the new 4 in 1 tool!!!
Oh I love this pattern! I saw the quilt in person and fell in love with it! And who can't use that tool?? Thanks for the giveaway!
Understand the need for turning on word verification ...... after a couple of nasty episodes with spammers I did too.
