So Wednesday wasn't actually sunny, but it wasn't raining. And I saw some blue sky! Never went outside though, which just isn't right. Better luck with that today! 
For some synthetic sunshine I plopped out the latest goodies from a medicinal trip to Daiso a couple of weeks ago with Elizabeth. We needed some perking up. This stuff hit the spot.
I did get some cutting done, and some sewing. Moved onto another project temporarily. What are you up to?

....and, what am I doing today ? Shoveling snow so I can leave for work .... ugh..... (and how boring!)

What am I doing? Well I'm sure not sewing. Packing, leaving tomorrow to do a Lecture and Workshop and Demo at the Quilting By the Bay retreat. At least I will get to see the beautiful beaches and maybe eat some seafood. I love to do this so I'm allll good.

Darling! Me, I'm at work getting ready to encourage my team to great things in the year to come! Wish I was leading a group of quilters. Maybe some sewing this weekend.
Why oh why isn't there a Daiso on the east coast? Such cute stuff! I have finished my snowball quilt and gotten it quilted so I need to sew binding on-that's what I'm thinking about working on.

Went on a quilting retreat this past weekend and started a snowball quilt. Instead of snowballs, I'm making a baseball quilt out of baseball fabric that I bought a long, long time ago.
Hoping this baseball quilt will help keep him warm during his second round of chemo as he waits for baseball season to begin again.
When I left for work this morning the sun was out, but it was just tricking me because it left as soon as I go to work! I don't think it will ever come back.
What am I up to? Watching it rain....

The sun finally started to shine today after weeks of overcast weather! I don't like January one bit!!

We had some snow today in Connecticut. Really pretty soft big flakes came down for about 5 hours..just enough to blanket the world in white...trees, too.

LOVE the sink strainer!!! Very "springy". What am I doing?? Day off from work so that means vacuuming, washing floors then possibly heading out to my studio to....do something!!! LOL
I cannot believe that I have not made it over to Daiso!! I have to go soon. That stuff is hecka cute!
