Good Morning!

Good grief peoples, it seems like forever since I sat down here at the blog. How goes it with you guys? All that Christmas talk for the past two weeks has me all mixed up, it's still November right?
So I was totally thinking about all the crafts people mentioned during the blog hop. Amy mentioned the TV Guide folding, that's how I know she's much younger than I, we were folding Reader's Digest back in the day. Pat mentioned that on her blog, which cracked me up. It was crazy fun just thinking about stuff I hadn't thought of in years.
Of course I had to go looking to see if I could find some kind of picture of the fish. The internet is amazing because it took like a minute to find that. But here you go, a Sweetheart Soap fish.

I've been sewing of course. Not a lot. Remembering stuff takes a lot of time. I found some of the holiday Junior Mints. That makes me thing of Sharon.
Ok, I'm trying to get back in the groove. Tell me what's new peeps! xo

alobsiger nailed it... there IS a party at your machine!

I remember making TV Guide trees. I miss those TV Guides... it's so hard to fold those DirecTV interactive menus.

Here's what's going on in NH. I babysat my 2 grandsons on Black Friday so his parents, my son and DIL, could shop at 4am. As my DIL planned her military battle Thursday night, (seriously, it was like she was planning WW3), she asked if she could do any of my shopping for me. Ah, that would be a big yes. She ended up doing almost half my shopping for me! Why didn't I take advantage of this wonderful girl earlier, afterall they have been married 6 years. Easiest Christmas shopping I ever did!

Pam, I so remember those soap fish. We used to think we were so clever making them and really they were quite gorgeous, not that I would have one in my house now!! LOL

Love the soap fish! When I was younger (along time ago) my mom used to knit/crochet these (cheesy, sorry mom!) dolls that their dress went over the roll of toilet paper! And her friend made the soaps! Oh, the picture I have probably painted for you of my house growing up! anyway your post took me down memory lane!

Notwithstanding the fact that I haven't started my Christmas cards, the shopping isn't done, and I have half-baked plans to sew up a bunch of presents that I also haven't started yet, I had to go to the fabric store today to buy Christmas fabric to make bandannas for the dogs.

It was important.

I also didn't have time for the grocery store. Who needs to eat? Christmas bandanas for the dogs, that's the ticket!

Hi Pam,
I was all blogged out for a few days too - but I'm getting back in the groove - have the first of the blog hop projects done, found fabrics for the candy canes, and hoping to get a few of those made today. also, I went shopping for Christmas mugs and choc. cake ingredients, so that project is a go for this week, too.
Somewhere this week I still hope to put the tree up - although the decorations may have to wait for the weekend!
