The Ruiner
The squirrel has removed the whole top portion of my umbrella by now. I happened to catch him working on it and shot this blurry little video. It cracks me up.
Thank goodness I brought my laundry in, or that squirrel family would be wearing Bret's shirts!
Have a happy day peeps!

Once a squirrel pulled all of the stuffing out of my mom's outdoor chair cushion. We presume she had a very cozy nest. I wonder what this squirrel has in mind for this cloth?
too funny i think its a quilter cam she is trying to distract you while the other one is looking in your windows to steal an idea...
they are a devious group
have a great day
ter
I think we have one in our attic. Oh joy!
What a destructive little critter! Very funny!
I just hope he doesn't realize that there is another umbrella out there.
My neighborhood has been invaded by the squirrel army....really I think it's just a few of them but they do so much damage. They have managed to chew right thru the lids of all the trash cans in the neighborhood. They ripped thru the winter cover on our boat. They chewed the hard plastic step plate on our 4-Runner. On the flip side...last summer a squirrel was drowning in our pool and my husband saved it's life...this is the thanks we get.
Maybe she's stealing your unbrella fabric for a great quilt she's working on...Hee! Hee!
I hate squirrels. I can't even think somewhat pleasant thoughts or say nice words. Nasty creatures.
Yours might be lovely........ mine, are NOT.
hope all is well on your end of the screen!
Wow - I wonder what she/he plans on doing with it!
BUSTED! Squirrel-gate. Caught on tape.
LOVE your video!!!
Well I guess there is a new umbrella in your future, how did he find out. Love the video.
That's gonna be some squirrel quilt when she finishes!
Cheers!
Pam,
Squirrels are cute, but so destructive. I had one ruin several bird feeders. I got so mad I threw a soup can towards him. I would never hit one but I wanted my birds to have their food! By the by, I too am an Agatha Raisen fan. Went right out to the library to get the latest! Thanks for the head ups! Sherry
Guess I should consider myself lucky that the squirrels on our side of town are content to make the dogs bark. Oh and to gnaw on pipes. Can't forget that.
What a little devil, you wonder what is going through his little brain!!!??? Thankfully we don't have squirels but we do have other destructive animals!!!
