Oil of eBay

I should probably just file this away under my own particular brand of crazy, but look what I scored on eBay recently.

I know, I know, it's not the kind of thing that you usually see people showing off, darling vintage tidbits of fabric or little figurines or old quilts in perfect condition for $10.95. It's boxes and boxes of discontinued soap. And how unhip is bar soap anyway?

I don't care though, it's one of the few unscented soaps around and I am thankful for the person with the foresight to stock up on the clearance deal. My own stash had run out. So I'm good to go for another few months.

So add that to my list of things to be thankful about. Like family and friends, jobs with health insurance, good healthy food to eat, a place to live..

When we were trying to get pregnant I bought boxes and boxes of pregnancy tests from Canadian Ebay. They were super cheap. I had enough that I could pee on one everday. And I did it even after I was pregnant just for fun.

I LOVE Neutogena soap, it smells like my Grandma used to. I buy it for a treat every other year or so. I want it to remain a treat.
Loved seeing the soap on your blog. It always makes me smile coming to visit you.

Well thank you for bringing out the quirkiness in all of us Miss Pam. I recently bought 6 Revlon Eyeglide in Rose that I love and it was discontinued. I wear it everyday and it is so easy to use...twist, glide, and voila. Good Ol ebay. I found my discontinued Vicky's Secret perfume too...and I am not telling how much that cost me. But I smell sweet. Have a great T Day...Pam in Chico

Move over... is there an extra chair for me in your particular brand of crazy room? I'm the SAME way (no surprise, eh) when I see bars of Palmolive (green) bar soap. If I see a dollar store, I zoom in and look for it - and buy all that they have. My stash in the garage looks like something Quentin Tarantino staged for something weird.

Cracking UP over your title... Oil of eBay. YOU KILL ME!

Soap is one of the most wonderful things in life. I think it's perfectly normal to hoard your favorite discontinued kind.

I've seen lots of soaps with no scent though...is it just that this is the formulation you love best too?
