Cutting and then some sewing.
Last night I finished up Elizabeth's bag and all the photoshopping, so time for some cutting and sewing. I'm halfway through cutting all my squares for the Summer in the City quilt. The patterns calls for just 17 prints but how could we choose? The kit includes enough for 2 squares of each fabric in the line, which is more than the amount required, so I'm thinking maybe I'll get an extra row out of it. I usually cut each fabric one at a time, no piling up for me. I enjoy the repetition sometimes.. what about you, piler or single filer?
And here's today's ray of sunshine.. none of that around here today. Have a sunny weekend friends!

It depends on my mood and what project it is.
I love the flower and the flower fabric.
By the way, what kind of flower is it? Obviously it looks daisyish.
Hey, the Portland Quilt trade show is coming up. Are you still going to that or is that just my wishful thinking?
Happy sewing Miss PKM!
I'm a piler (even though my spell checker doesn't agree with me. Maybe it's the wine). I either save my extras, or more often then not... I make my quit bigger. And then I need more border fabric. And then I can't find more. And then in the UFO cupboard it goes.
I'm SO lovin' the fab under your cutter! I can't WAIT to see this quilt done! And your flower photo... OMG you take such great photos and that flower looks like a yummy button.
Are you talking about Quilt Expo in Portland? I'm going to be there!!! I'll be with Anna Lena's/Wash Tub Prints.... aka The Girl Gang. Do I smell a PamKittingMorning-HappyZombieAfternoon-DustpanAlleyEvening???? :o)
The fabric is so dreamy, Pam! Happy Sewing!!

It all depends on what I am making as to whether I am a piler or a filer.
I love the fabric! I can't wait to see the pattern.
What a nice sunshiney day post
Need to get out the old Sears and Roebuck and have it tuned up..used to sew all my kids clothes...even their coats and jackets.
LOVE the flowers!

Piler, normally but it depends on the fabric. If all the fabrics are as cute as the fabric in the picture, I think I'd do them individually so I could fondle each one with it's own love. :)
I'm a stacker for sure. Never more than six at a time though. I love cutting out fabric for a new quilt. There is something very zen like about all that repetition. Encourages contemplation.
Where can I get the kit? I LOVE that fabric!!!
