New projects.
Yup, I finally pulled all my fabrics for the project Elizabeth and I are working on. Good grief I like to torture myself over selections.
I used this cute label as my inspiration. It's a darling bottle of Ramune Soda... with 'marble'. I'm not completely sure what 'marble' is but I bet my dentist wouldn't like it. Actually according to the warning label I must not swallow the the opener nor try and remove that marble. Yikes. So many potential complications. I was going to say thank goodness this project isn't filled with as much danger, but considering that I'll be using a rotary cutter, an iron and some scissors maybe I shouldn't tempt fate.

I know what you mean about agonizing over fabric selections. I did that yesterday afternoon over my next project. What really bugs me is that I have a store full of choices and can never seem to find two or three that I love together. I ended up with a wonderful happy pink floral from our PKM collection. I'll share my new brain storm if it turns out.
Where can I get a bottle of that sweet strawberry juice?
You can't go wrong with Hello Kitty as inspiration. This fabric stack looks very inviting. I'm anxious to see how it turns out.
Love the selections, Pam! But be careful of that soda....a marble in your soda doesn't sound so safe. I can't wait to see what you are stitching today :)
Is there really a marble in there?!!!
P.S. - Love the fabrics!
Oh Pammy, so cute and so funny! You're my favourite.
Where do you buy soda with a marble in it? Can't believe that it's allow in the US. Sounds like a lawsuit pending.
Can't wait to see what you are working on.
I was at Pine Needles the other day picking out fabric, you know the shop, some of yours of course, when I witnessed a first.
There was a woman choosing just the right fabrics for a quilt...nothing new, but it was who was helping her that caught my eye. HER TEENAGE SON!
I carefully watched...and listened, you know how it goes?
This kid had awesome taste! He talked about hue and lightness and dark and balance.
Should have asked for his number :)
I think "marble" in another language means CAVITY! Yes I'm pretty sure it does.
Like your choice of fabs.
The marble is what seals the bottle and keeps the fizz in. When I was a kid, it was always a glass bottle and you push the marble into the bottle. It wasn't always easy to push that marble in. Now I think they're all or mostly used in plastic bottles. I've never had the plastic bottle type but I'm pretty sure you still push the marble in. Don't eat the marble! lol
