Greetings!
Hope your weekend was fantastic! The weather here was perfection on Saturday and pretty darn close on Sunday, even if it was a tad warmer. Windows open! No a/c!! I even pulled the covers on Saturday night. Chilly! It was like being rejuvenated.
Didn't want to disappoint you guys, so I finished my blocks and made the pillow. I love how it turned out. Well I like it a lot, the non-matchiness of it kind of bugs me, but I'm trying to be cool about it. I dug through my stash and found everything to finish it, so all I had to buy was the pillow form. And for that, 50% off coupon, so I bought the expensive one, well worth it.

I used the method that Elizabeth taught me.. and I love how nice it turns out. That woman makes a mean pillow.
See how sweet it looks with the pillow she crocheted for me? Meant to be. Ok, what's on your agenda this week?

Love your pillow!
Love it PKM -- it's super cute!!! (Wait...what was that phrase we used to use for something really cute? I've forgotten it already - doh!)
I love the use of those blocks in the pillow. And I see covered buttons on the back!
It looks great. I love the non-matchiness!
Have a great week!
Very very nice! Love the pattern too! SWEET! It's supposed to get cool here. Yay! Hope your weather stays nice. Pam
It's a happy pillow! The dark blue piping really sets it off.
I love the pillow. Does Elizabeth have a tutorial?
What am I doing this week?
1. Watching the grandsons
2. Taking my vitamins - see #1 above
3. Going to the post office. Hmmm....
4. Cleaning
5. Yard work
6. Attempt to make my block for the newest BOM program I signed up for (what was I thinking?)
Such a glamorous life! LOL!

I like how the pillow turned out and love the back buttons! They are super cute together and I'll have to check out her blog. I'm in the midst of making some pillows & always looking for inspiration :) Thanks!
WIP...making more kitty cats, pillows & stitching. Busy Girl :)
see you soon, susie.
Cute pillow! And the non-matchiness is what makes it fabbo! What am I doing this week? Well after the computer crash of last week, I'm catching up---- but I am planning some sewishness worked in as well.
Well, I 'm putting the finishing touches on my gnome pillow from Just Stitchy, and today while I was at Pine Needles I ran into Lori Holt!
Like the ninny I am I introduced myself and called her a celebrity...because she is!
If I were to see you in person I would faint :)
FEELING STITCHY!!!!
Forgive me, it's Monday ;)
Your blog is addicting... now I want to make this pillow! :O) Thanks for the info! Would love to know how to finish it - does Elizabeth have a pattern she sells... or a tutorial on her site? I browsed, but couldn't see anything... really like the way you finished your pillow! Bari Jo
I love it!! I think you and Elizabeth should come to Utah and teach a class! Jamie and I went looking for your special coffee, she thinks you should come too!

Wow! Your pillow looks amazing and the non-matchiness gives it real charm :)
The pillow looks awesome! I definitely like it's scrappy look. It's very, very charming!
My best friend, that moved, is in town visiting. She currently lives in China so we are busy picking up stuff she can't find there. That does include a few trips to some fabric shops.
cute!!!!!
love the unmatchiness!
is this a pattern?
cute, cute, cute!
Oh, it's just amazing...love it!!!
Hey Pam! Not sure what you mean about the non-matchiness of it. From a stranger to your stash, it looks like a perfectly cohesive scrap pillow ... no weirdness to me ... honestly! And believe me, I'm the queen of weirdness when it comes to my own work so I know all about self-doubt! ;) I love it. Can't wait to make my own.
The pillow is adorable! And it goes so well with Elizabeth's crocheted pillow and your bedspread.
So darling. I want to make a whole quilt with that block. Inspiring Pam. Love the crochet from Elizabeth.
I made some pillows last month... and whipped out Elizabeths book for her info on making pillows! I love your little Union Jack.
Is it a UJ or an asterisk? Sorry!!!
