Magical and Mysterious

How was it? I had a great Christmas, how about you? Luckily for me, my mother-in-law volunteered to have Christmas again at her house! That saves me a lot of time trying to get this place in order for people! We collaborate on the menu and it always turns out wonderful. I am so lucky.
Right before Christmas, the UPS truck came along and dropped off a mysterious package wrapped in crime scene tape..

What?

Apparently my life of crime earlier this year has paid off. Look what Accu-Santa sent to me! I couldn't believe it when I opened it up! I can't wait to clear off some room and see what this 'baby' can do!
Now you know what I'll be up to this week! Bret is home for the whole week so in between some family style fun I intend to cut some fabric and sew!!! Now tell me what you have planned!

What a wonderful surprise! We are hitting the road to visit family in Louisiana and Florida. Very little sewing, but maybe some fabric shopping while on the road:) Happy Holidays!

That is so funny, cute and wonderful. I think I've solved my accuquilt problem. There is a store close by that is buying one for use in the store. You pay $35.00 to belong to the club and sign up any time then throughout the year to use it. I think that is a great idea. Then I don't even have to worry about where to store it or buying templates. You'll love yours. Of course I'd rather have one but this satisfies that urge.

Wow..what a great gift! I can't wait to hear what you think of it once you put this baby to use. I am relieved all the gift making is over for a while and now I am going to concentrate on a pickle-dish quilt I have been working on! Merry Christmas!

What do I have planned? First of all cleaning! I"m in the middle of cleaning my sewing room. No small feat as that's where all the Christmas explosion lands. Then a movie with friends, a road trip or two with the hubs which hopefully includes a quilt store. New Years Eve will be babysitting the grandsons so my daughter can have some fun! Blessings to you!

Sounds like you had a great Christmas! Nice gift! so crime does pay, hmmm...
I'm going to try to find my sewing table and then I'm going to unpack my sewing room and then I'm going to fold the hundreds of yards of fabric that are shoved in bags (I moved in August). I was going to do some of this in the fall, but then a family member asked to stay for a few weeks while apartment hunting and then it was Christmas. So, I'll start all this and organize projects for the new year. It's all one day at a time.
