Set adrift!
OHMYGOSH I was without internet, well real internet, for two days. TWO WHOLE DAYS. I had my Sidekick3 but you can't really really appreciate the internet and email from a Sidekick3. Don't get my wrong, its better than NO INTERNET.
To top it off, the second laptop that Bret picked up for me, after the first one didn't work, was also broken. What the heck? He's picking up the third laptop today, lets hope it's the charm.
Because people, I don't manage well without CONSTANT COMMUNICATION WITH THE INTERNET.
I'm such a wimp.

OMG - I laughed so hard when I read this! We've become so dependent on that darn plug! But, really, more on each other...welcome back sweetie! We missed you!
You sound like you are taking after us with all the computer problems. We just got a new modem & Don's shaking monitor is driving him nuts. The new one should be here shortly.
I don't know if I could handle it. The power went out yesterday for 30 seconds and I saw my life flash before my eyes. Not because of impending doom. Not because I thought there was a national emergency. Because it meant the Internet was down. AAAAAAHHHHH! That was only 30 seconds. Two days? I'd've chewed my arm off by now.
You are NOT a wimp. Constant internet access is part of your aesthetic.

Just want to let you know that I came in last night after an aborted attempt to go to the drive in movie with Kitty and paton last night, only to hear the whirring of the fan on my very new very expensive IMAC!
I've got three blogs stacked up and ready to go...ITMT, I think that I am going to need to have this puppy shipped out to Apple as of tomorrow, before it brusts into flames and it takes a recovery team to get at my hard drive.
