Blog hoppin!

Good morning and welcome to the third week of the Aurifil Ornament Blog hop!

Aurifil Christmas Blog Hop

Today is my turn to share my ornament with you! It's a simple one, trust me! I'm not a super-embroiderer like the others! I fancied mine up with some vintage holly and covered buttons.  I'm still madly in love with Anna's from last week!

aurifilornament

You can download my ornament pattern by clicking here! It's made using the simple stem stitch, but you could make it with any stitch you felt comfortable with! (or have your kids use a fabric marker!) I used a single strand of Aurifil 12wt red 2250, which is the perfect PKM red by the way!

Be sure and stop by and see what Victoria and the LizzieB Girls have in store for you!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes for Frankie yesterday, she enjoyed them! We had a wonderful day out and about!

I love doing embroidery, especially redwork as as hand project to do when you are sitting and watching tv! When it's cold outside and you need a throw over your lap it is just perfect! Any other time you will find me at the sewing machine!
