Springing Forward
The Sunday we spring forward always seems like a lost day to me. Doesn't matter that I get up an hour earlier than I normally would to get ahead of the whole time change thing. Maybe it was the gloominess of the day, I just couldn't 'feel' what time it was. Suddenly it was 4pm and I don't know how it happened.
The weekend was good though. I had a nice lunch out with Bret and I managed to make this little cover for Frankie's new phone. She has that new Samsung is-it-a-tablet-is-it-a-phone and it needs safekeeping. Kind of plain but it will do the job. I had the little handle just waiting for a project to go with it. I like the idea of this and think I will try to make a little something that will hold my phone and maybe some money. No hurry. Sometimes I just like to think on a project and see where it takes me.
Did you do anything fun?

Oh, we had some fun, but right now I am thinking: "I want my hour back. And. I love the phone cover! Pretty."
This day may require coffee.
Now that we have moved to Arizona, I like the fact that they don't do Daylight Savings Time.(or maybe they are on it permanently?) No changing of the clocks every 6 months and less confusion. I recommend every State follow.
Not a fan of the time change. Just like fall back none of this spring forward.
Such a nice phone cover! I'm getting ready to cut my Pam Kitty Morning fabric to make a queen size quilt. I'm very excited...
My family celebrated my Dad's 79th birtday and we had a blast!
I have been against DLS for along time. I am a morning person and now it is DARK. UCK
Love your posts. Your pictures are so cheerful.
We had a gloomy day all day. About 4 o'clock I decided the gloom and clouds were a good thing because it helped me believe whatever the clocks said!
However, despite having this week off school for spring break, I hated getting up in the dark today! And I'll hate commuting in it next week. By then, hopefully, a lot of other drivers will have adjusted to the change and won't be causing so many traffic accidents.
It always takes too much time to adjust to the time change but I don't want to complain too loudly because getting extra daylight at the end of the day means more relaxing afternoon handwork in normal lighting. That said, I'm going to have about four cups of coffee this morning just to get motivated!
Your phone case is darling, of course!
I have to agree. I somehow seem to lose more than an hour with the time change, and I don't get it back in the fall either. Cute phone case.
I know what you mean about the time change. I know it is only an hour lost, but it feels like more.
Beautiful day here and we enjoyed the extra hour of daylight. Worked on my PKM Dresden Plate some.
This is tax week, so I am not too thrilled about what I have to do today...
Cute phone cover. I need to make one for my new phone that I keep saying I am going to get. I still have a flip top. LOL...really.
Phone cover is cute as pie---- no doubt a good marinating in the PKM brain deposit will lead to something fabulous for you! And the lost hour? Try losing in ON VACATION! I want my hour back---- I paid for it and feel incredibly cheated. Harumph.
Had a wild week, and then a wonderful weekend with a friend from the Bay! Now, I'm off to FINALLY update my blog, and then sew! Saw a beautiful stack of your fabrics on Miss Rosie's blog yesterday! How exciting! http://lavieenrosie.typepad.com/lavieenrosie/
Very sweet cover. I just love your fabrics. ~Kelly

I don't mind DST. I am loving the weather that we are having-upper 60's in early March! I love your coffee cups and the phone cover-too cute!
