Fresh from the mail box!
Today Elizabeth and I went up to The Quilter's Inn. It was so packed you practically had to take a number to get in! HOLY COW! But always good to see your local store jammed with people so you know you'll still have a local store! It was a quick trip really, we needed some basic supplies and Elizabeth is working on a project she'll be blogging about. So plan on heading over to check it out. And did you check out her SEWN give away? Good gravy.
So as Lizzy herself might say, here's my sweet action mail today, a bundle of Red Letter Day fabrics!! And the whales. I love the whales.

oooohhhh.
yum.
I love Quilter's Inn.
Oooh yummy! Whatcha gonna do with it???
Love those fabrics...and you've got a term for an expression I've been trying to find..."gazing phase!" That's exactly it...and we have to go through the gazing phase with all new fabrics and precuts and bundles!!!
Nice little bundle there! I like the whales too! Is Quilters Innn very far from Livermore?
My favorite is the trees in that line. I don't know what I'd do with those so I'm waiting to see what ideas you have!
Oh these are so you, Pam! How nice of Lizzy! Can't wait to see the result!
Cheers!
Don't ya just love fun mail like that! I got an envelope just the other day with a lovely note and sweet surprise.
Cute line too.
I really like Quilter's Inn too. Jane is so nice and so much fun.
I went to a local quilt shop today too..... Tammy Tadd's. Omigosh, how could I not know that shop was so close to me? Well, it is hidden in an industrial park, maybe that's why.
I am now quite a few pounds ($$$$) lighter but really a happy little clam.
Thanks for showing us those beautiful fabrics.

mmmm, red letter day. Man, those whales are CUTE.
I got my Red Letter Day in the mail yesterday (ordered from Pink Chalk) and I'm definitely in the gazing phase!!!
Love that phrase...gazing phase...you sure nailed it!! The fabs are yummy!
Pam.
Miss Sherry here. About your LQS owner- do you think she might be available to talk to Tammy about what they did to promote their Quilt Sampler selection? If so give Tammy a call at the shop Thanks so much! Hope you get some of our rain. We have had bucketfuls!!!
That's definitely a good mail day. It would take me a few days to break into that lovely stack.
Oh, it's just so hard to untie those fabulous fabric bundles. I leave mine intact on the shelf for a few days, just for eyecandy, too. :)
You trickster! You scored fabric before I did, plus a whale print! That girl...well, it was indeed sweet action for and your mailbox. I've got to get one of the those prints, I love the yellow.
Cheerio,
Cherri
these fabrics are beautiful- lucky you!
