Molasses

Things moved pretty slow this weekend. Honestly, I don't even remember what we did, except maybe we went to Fry's and I waited in the car. It was hot so possibly my brain fried while I was following along on twitter and reading a magazine.

My pillow is prepped for the handwork. Somebody asked what brand of pillow form I like, and it's a Fairfield brand.. its nice and firm and full. Makes for a nice pillow. The thing I like about Elizabeth's instructions is that the pillow is a shade smaller than the pillow form, so the pillow cover is full.

Saw this while out and about. Hilarious! What did you do?

Love your pillow! I searched and may have just missed it but could you mention more about "Elizabeth's pillow instructions"? I'd love to check out those also! Deborah

You chose well. Going into Fry's is enough to put a damper on all brain activity for a long time.

I made a quilted pillow cover over the weekend as well. Something in the air must be getting to us.

Happy Monday.

Pillows too...I made one with a 1.5 in flange a few weeks ago and just totally disliked how "flappy" the flange was. So I ripped away and today I am backing the top with batting for some body and I'll retry it! And then finishing up a cute one made like a quilt where the edges have binding...Jaybird quilts tutorial! Have a great week Pam.

Love that pillow ... I went to an all-day Modern Quilt Guild sew-in and got a bunch of squares cut for a challenge quilt.

I spent the weekend fondling all the projects that will not be finished before I go back to work. Then I ate some chocolate, did a mercy load of laundry, ate some more chocolate, and took a nap :)
I love your pillow project, won't you be my neighbor?
