It's True

We went to Daiso. It's not that I wasn't going to tell you, I just didn't get on it and who would have thought Elizabeth would have gotten on that post so fast???? Unlike Elizabeth though, I picked up a basket, didn't want to miss out on anything. Unfortunately I missed out on that little stamp pad and I'm only a little embarrassed to admit that I'm thinking about driving to Daiso in Union City to look for one. I don't have time which is probably why I feel so OCD about it. Laurie's purse is going in the mail today. TODAY PEOPLE.

There's my loot. I'm drawn to the colorful goodness of it all. Happiness at $1.50 a slice.

My sweet treasure from the Hello Kitty Gumball machine. Just the one I wanted. Sometimes it does seem like I have a charmed life. xo

How fun! I was so in love with Hello Kitty as a girl- and the only place you could find it was in a teeny tiny little section of the Thalheimers department store. Now they have entire stores! Now, they apparently have gumball machines!!! ;)

Too charming for words. I take it that Diaso doesn't have a store here in the desert, does it??

Yes Pam, it does seem you live a charmed life. I think that is great. It is fun to be your friend and hopefully some of that charm rubs off on me. Cute stuff. Of course!

I would drive to Newark. Heck... I'm tempted to drive to Federal Way! (5 hour r/t).

Picturing myself with you and E at Daiso... put that banana Tupperware down!

Ha, I did read the post first at Elizabeth's. She was one step ahead of you this time. Next time you go to this store, ask them to open up on the east coast. I am jealous of all the fun little items you picked up. I would have grabbed the basket too!

i went to my local daiso last night and didn't find all the cute stuff you guys got! btw, do you know of Ichi-ban? (i think that's the name)--their stuff is a tiny bit more expensive but even cuter (if that's possible). there's one in SF's Japantown and i heard there's one opening in Tanforan.

I love Daiso, but they closed ours here, and I'm really upset. I have four closepin hangers that I bought there. Two circular, and two oblong. I use them to hang my fiber that I am dying, and when you wash clothes, the underwear and socks go on those. They are terrific.

Cool stuff! No stores in Florida, though. Hmmph! You were really smart to grab a basket.

Ah, Daiso. I love that place. It's funny, tho, that the stuff is made in China. :) tee hee I love your treasures.
